The IHA will provide these members with unique ways to easily find one another to provide and receive lessons, participate in online competitions, have a guide path to improve their horsemanship, as well as a plan for becoming instructors and/or ‘trainers.
Who We Are
The IHA is a collaborative horsemanship organization providing support for humans and horses in pursuit of their goals at whatever level of achievement they seek.
This worldwide platform supports the collaboration of horse enthusiasts, equine professionals, students of horsemanship, competitors, and commercial entities. We provide professional support to people in pursuit of their horsemanship goals by applying proven safe and humane horse training techniques.
The IHA defines a horsemanship pathway that is intuitive and reproducible by any motivated individual. This pathway defines the minimum standard for safe and progressive horsemanship that will be used as a basis for qualifying instructors and trainers.
The Grades of Horsemanship Pathway (GHP) is an interactive and intuitive online horsemanship assessment program. All requirements and assessments for certification will be provided and achievable online, bringing horsemanship training into the information age. YOU can put your computer in your arena and get to work!!
