What Equestrian Experience are you looking for?
A Natural Horsemanship & Riding Guest Ranch vacation and a Natural Horsemanship Clinic & Training vacation focus on different equestrian experiences but they are both about riding, horses, horsemanship and having fun in the saddle.
A growing number of The Hideout guests combine the two experiences by participating in a Farrah Green Horsemanship Clinic and then enjoying a guest ranch vacation at The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch.
Let’s have a closer look at what these two unique equestrian destinations offer.

An Upscale Guest Ranch Riding Vacation at The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch
If you are looking for an excellent riding and horsemanship vacation at an upscale guest ranch, while being pampered with fine dining, quality service and upscale accommodations, The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch is your place.
An important ingredient in a vacation at The Hideout, is the availability of a respectful and quality horse program. You can ride horses and learn about horsemanship, but not be in a clinic setting all week. Non-riding activities such as archery, trapshooting, swimming, hiking, fly-fishing, etc. are available.
If you are looking for a great riding vacation which is not training/clinic focused The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch, in Shell Wyoming, limited to approximately 25 riders per week, is your best choice.
This program allows for as many or as little hours in the saddle as you or your travel companions choose. Mixed groups of travelers wanting to spend every minute in the saddle and travel companions who would like to enjoy some non-riding activities will find this a great place to vacation in an upscale, exclusive setting.

Farrah Green Natural Horsemanship Clinics at The Trapper Creek Ranch
The horsemanship clinics at The Trapper Creek Ranch focus on horsemanship, riding, communicating with horses and in-depth learning.
The accommodations are comfortable, the food is simple but good, but the pampering is not at the level of a vacation at The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch.
This is about horses, horsemanship and learning. Non-riding activities are not available and you pay a premium to participate in a hands-on clinic & training week limited to 4 participants only, which is unique. This allows plenty of one-to-one time with clinician Farrah Green and her assistant. The days are split up between time working in the arena and trail riding.
The Natural & Respectful Horsemanship concept and philosophy are the same.
The philosophy of AH Horsemanship at The Hideout Lodge & Guest Ranch and the training concepts at the clinics and retreats at The Trapper Creek Ranch are consistent with the concepts of the IHA.
Throughout the clinic program, participants feel they are cared for with respect to hospitality, quality, clean lodging and healthy food.
Farrah conducts her clinic and horsemanship program at The Trapper Creek Ranch, a sister ranch of The Hideout located also in Shell, Wyoming.
The two programs are kept entirely separate as their focus is different.
